Bangalore earrings are made with two 1965 25 Paise coins worth ¼ rupee, hand-beveled with a gold obsidian. On the coins appears the Lion of Sarnath, the national emblem of Indiaa which represents the vocation of this country for peace and good will. Made up of four lions this complex Buddhist symbol represents the journey towards enlightenment.
