For Lissette Olavarrieta, jewelry has always been a way of discovering the world.
Since childhood, she has been drawn to pieces that are bold, colorful, unexpected, and capable of transforming even the simplest look. Traveling only deepened that curiosity. Markets, streets, and places filled with history became part of her search for treasures that could not be found twice.
Moroccan jewelry left a lasting impression. The way old coins could be transformed into pieces full of meaning and history changed the way she saw jewelry.
She began collecting coins from the places she visited, not as souvenirs, but as treasures she could one day wear and would remind her of a special time.
That instinct to hunt, collect, and transform became the beginning of Olavarrieta.
